5./JG Herrmann

I was looking for details of this at http://www.ww2.dk/ to get info on the a/c used by particular pilots mentions in the LW claims in Tony Woods site. So far I can't work out where to find 5./JG Herrmann. ???

Later: Found it (JG 300).

Re: 5./JG Herrmann

am assuming this is in reagrds to your inquiry on the Berlin raids of 1943 yes ?

would recommend volume 1 of Jean Yves Lorant/Richard Goyats English and French editions on JG 300 coming very soon. Should suffice your craving for the needed Fw 190A-4-A-6 information you seek ..........

Re: 5./JG Herrmann

Actually in this case it was Essen 25-26/7/43 but I'm sure your answer still applies. Thanks.

Re: 5./JG Herrmann

Ok II./JG 300 were flying A-4's and A-5's.

I see 6 kills for I./JG 300 flying the Bf 109G and 1 kill for III./JG 300 flying the Bf 109G

Re: 5./JG Herrmann

Looking at Reich & Western Front 1943. Vol IV in http://www.lesbutler.ip3.co.uk/tony/tonywood.htm I see only 4 claims from JG Herrman ; II,6 and 5./JG Herrman (2claims). Is your source different?
