Georg Haneberg - JG 2 and LG 2

Just for curiosity, since some pictures of this airman have been sold recently for more than 100 Euros...

I have tried, but got no joy in finding information about this particular airman...so, who is Georg Haneberg...and was he from JG 2 or LG 2?

What he did, in terms of military achievements for a picture of him being sold at more than 100 Euros?

Was it because he was related to LG 2?

Is there any short bio or info regarding this airman?

So he was KIA very early, in October 1941...on Hs 123!

Are the LG 2 emblems so rare that the prices arise so much for those pictures? I mean, they are indeed beautiful but nothing more than other beautiful pictures that have arisen from time to time...

Thank you for clarifying Matti...I thought he (Haneberg) could have been a rare DKiG or RK-Träger, but it does not seems so...One of thousands that did they job and served its country...and paid the supreme price.

Maybe a future LG 2 book do clarify what he did, how many missions he flew, etc...Maybe the winner was a Family Member...

Both pictures are beautiful....and congratulations for the winner...Perhaps one day we will know the full story of this man.

Can I ask what Abmontieren einer Fläche means in English?

Dismantle/Remove a surface/area makes no sense to me....
