Finding Details on Americans in the RAF

Hi,

I have a number of Americans airman who served in 218 (Gold Coast) Squadron. I am trying to locate their relatives or details on their careers on leaving the RAF.

Can any kind soul point me in the right direction where I can ask in the USA, I have tried all the usual contacts here in the UK with no luck.

Any help appreciated.

Thank you.

Steve
