Bf 109 of IV./JG 27 Bodenplatte
The following question was posted on the old side, I thought I would answer it here;
Angelos Mansolas IV/JG 27 marking Bodenplatte Mon Dec 27, 2004 19:03 62.38.209.108 Hi all! Does anyone know whether IV/JG 27 carried a IV Gruppe marking on the fuselages of their 109s during December 1944 and Operation Bodenplatte? I cannot find a single photo showing a IV/JG 27 aircraft during that period. Hi Angelos, RAF Intelligence records show that Hptm. Heinz Dudeck flew a Bf 109G-10, WNr. 490644 which carried the IV. Gruppe marking (~)
