Airspeed Oxford in RCAF
Hi Guys
In Air Britain's Oxford book, they mention a CT Sq in connection with some aircraft's initial use in the RCAF Typically there is no explanation in the Abbreviation section.... Guessing, Canadian Training Sq? Anyone who knows? Cheers Stig |

Re: Airspeed Oxford in RCAF
Or Possibly "Composite Training Squadron" or "Conversion Training Squadron"
Both phrases appear multiple times in this list of Airspeed Oxfords used in the RCAF (WWII). https://caspir.warplane.com/bin/warp...ftno=200001215 Last edited by RSwank; 30th August 2023 at 01:15. |

Re: Airspeed Oxford in RCAF
Thanks Jerry
What an odd place to have it. No head line and hidden within No 1 Sq. I must confess wondering why the Caspir site specifically on the aircraft I was looking at only state Composite Squadron? Oh well, they have been wrong before.... Cheers Stig |
