Air battles results on 15 September 1943 / France

Please,

1- What were the losses on Luftwafe and Allied sides during the air battles occured on 15 September 1943 over France.
2- Can we find connections with the involved units on both sides ?

Thank you

Cool Re: Air battles results on 15 September 1943 / France

According to my files, for september 15 1943, german airfields at Romilly-sur-Seine were visited by 87 Fortresses, Chartres A/D and many industrial targets by 186 Fortresses from USAAF. American pilots claimed and lost following planes :

334th FS claimed for one FW190 damaged SW of Paris.

96th BG suffered 4 B17 lost over France. (Paris area).
100 bg lost 2 B17

93 BG lost 1 plane (B24 Liberator) due to german nightfighter.

Ask if you want more details about crews and planes.

Good luck.
