Art,

Does this report state which unit this aircraft belonged to? Does it give any reasons why this aircraft was left behind? (Damaged?)

Thanks in advance,

Marcel

Re: Ju-88 S-3 WNr-330932

Unfortunately no much on this airplane except the place WNr (if correct) and type , if the airplane was not unusual they don’t put a lot of information , however this document must be based on a report made by an investigation team , it will be very interesting to know by which unit and the identification of the document .

Hi
In the book 'Die Geschichte des LG1' Band 2 there is a loss-entry for 330932.

FF Uffz Heinz van Dreumel, verletz
BF Uffz Erich Huhn, tot
BS Ogef Karl Schmidt, verletz

No info on the BO

Re: Ju-88 S-3 WNr-330932

I am not sure it’s the same airplane, maybe a wrong serial? Ahlhorm is pretty far from Braives , Huhn is said to be killed at Bissel !! This is a more normal crash place than in Belgium in liberated area!!

Another mystery

Re: Ju-88 S-3 WNr-330932

Hi again.
Not the first time there is an error..
In the same book there is a entry for a Ju88S-3, w.nr. 330933 4./LG1:
23.12.44, 100% Luftkampf mit nachtjäger, raum Hannut. L1+KM
FF Fw. Albert Johänntges, Gefangenschaft
BO Uffz. Joachim Flaskämper, Gefangenschaft
BF Ogef. Willi Konrad, Gefangenschaft
BS Uffz. Wilhelm Rudow, tot.

Could this be the one?

Regards Anders

Re: Ju-88 S-3 WNr-330932

Hello Anders

It was my first idea , I have this information but as the serial was different , I assume it could be another airplane .
In the case of the #933 the pilot observer and the radio bailed out and became POW the 4th was killed in the crash or maybe before , this happened at 20:00 the mission was W of Liege R&R stations and bombing troops

Many thanks for your help
