Right-all but caught up. Sheehan was slightly injured at 1323 hrs in BZ776. Ac captain was Beckingham. CC reports that at 1523 hrs, F/224 Sqn (Flt Lt Buckingham (sic) was engaged in combat with BV 222 west Bay of Biscay at 1523 hrs, hits obtained and one crew slightly injured. German records state that at 0409 hrs, a BV 222 took off for a mission in west Bay of Biscay. No mention of a combat

Not sure what else can be researched- BV 222 would have been from 1./129 & we have all from 224 Sqn's point of view. There was quite a big going on in the Bay of Biscay at this time |
