Publication of the Nachtjagd Combat Archive 1944 Vol. 4

Dear all,

Over the last few weeks, I've received a number of enquiries as to when the Nachtjagd Combat Archive 1944 Vol. 4 will be published. There's a bit of a delay with the production of the NCA 1944 vol 4, Wingleader Publishing told me yesterday that it will be out next month, in January 2021. This volume will cover the period of 24 July - 16 October 1944.

Cheers, Theo

Nachtjagd Combat Archive 1944 - Part 4

The "Nachtjagd Combat Archive 1944 - Part 4" is about to be published by Wingleader. I haven't seen any discussion about it on this board so I thought I would mention it so that interested parties would be aware of the publication of the next volume in this excellent series.

I am not associated with the authors or publisher of this volume in any way.

Thanks.

Re: Publication of the Nachtjagd Combat Archive 1944 Vol. 4

Dear all -finally, after a number of (mainly) Brexit-related delays, some good news on the next volume in the Nachtjagd Combat Archive series:

https://www.wingleader.co.uk/shop/na...1944-part-four

And please also notice the following announcement taken from the Wingleader Facebook page:

To all our European Collectors.
It finally looks as if nearly all the European book orders placed in the past couple of months have now arrived safely. Some took just a few days, some up to a month, some came through with no import duty, some had crazy fees demanded. The overall impression is that the European postal and customs staff are still struggling to understand exactly what was agreed in the Brexit talks, (to be honest, so are we!) We've therefore spoken to some big European specialist bookshops and they will try to stock as many of our titles as possible from now on so that you can order them from within the EU. We haven't made the links clickable in this mail for spam reasons but just copy and paste the web addresses into your browser. Our European collectors are still of course welcome to order directly from us, but ordering from these EU shops could be easier for you in the current confusion.

Excellent news Theo,

Just pre-ordered and pre-paid for mine. Look forward to seeing it and the next volume, which I understand could be out in April?

Keep up the good work!

David

Hi Theo,

My copy arrived today and, as usual, I wasn't disappointed by its quality etc.

Just makes me more impatient for the next volume coming next month?

How many volumes are planned for 1945 ? 2 or 3?

Anyway, good job,

David

Re: Publication of the Nachtjagd Combat Archive 1944 Vol. 4

Thanks David for your kind words. Re. the 1945 NCA series -no decision has been taken yet re the number of vols for 1945 (the 1945 series has yet to be designed etc), but I think it will be three. First we'll finish the proofs & production process for 1944 vol 5, and then Rod and Wingleader take over for the production of the 1945 series. I will then meanwhile continue work on the Eastern Front/Med volume plus a fully illustrated and detailed Nachtjäger biographies volume to complete the series.

Cheers, Theo
