Books in Russian with photos of crashed and captured German aircraft

I have two books from this series and one has captions in English and the other does not. Both have a color profile section. Each book looks like a magazine and is printed on a good, semi-gloss stock. And each book is a little taller than 81/2 x 11 inches. Here are two I do not have but I cannot check on the publication dates.

Unknown Battle in Moscow Skies, 1941-1942 (Part I)

Unknown Battle in Moscow Skies, 1941-1942 (Part III)

Usual disclaimer,
Ed

Hi Ed,

For the 3-volume set that you mentioned ("Unknown Battle in Moscow Skies" by Khazanov), the publishing dates for the individual volumes are:
- 1999 https://www.aviapress.com/viewonekit.htm?OTH-024
- 2001 https://www.aviapress.com/viewonekit.htm?OTH-096
- 2007 https://www.aviapress.com/viewonekit.htm?OTH-295
None of these volumes have any captions in English.

There is a different volume ("Trophies of Air Battles 1941-1945") that does have English captions, which is probably the one you were referring to.

Hope that helps,
Leon Venter

p.s. Thanks for your frequent postings about new books -- they're always greatly appreciated.
