Salmson D.6 Cri-Cri F-APSI/L?
Hello,
Currently on ebay is a photo of a Salmson D.6 Cr-Cri having fallen into German hands. https://www.ebay.de/itm/266917132888...Bk9SR-S8iq6bZA I have a couple of questions. 1. Has anyone further information on the french unit flying either F-APSI or F-APSL prior to capture?. 2. Are any Cri-Cri actually known to have flown with German (training) units post 1940? Regards, Clint |

Re: Salmson D.6 Cri-Cri F-APSI/L?
Its more likely to be F-APSL, as F-APSI is noted as having
an accident at Chartres 15.11.1937. |

Re: Salmson D.6 Cri-Cri F-APSI/L?
Hello,
Thanks for the reply. Could I ask if you're taking your information from http://www.airhistory.org.uk/gy/reg_F-18.html or Do you have further information. The reason I ask is that although the linked site does indeed say crashed, does this mean that the crash was reparable or does crashed in fact indicate that it was game over for F-APSI? Regards, Clint |
