Me 109 stick forces
Hi,
I have read various accounts stating that the elevator on the Me 109 was heavy at high speed and could lead to problems with recoveries and limited the pilots ability to pull g's. Does anyone have any test data like Rechlin test measurements of stick force verus airspeed or some other sound data like Allied evaluations? I would prefer data for the later models like the G and K series but anything will do. I would really like to see some data chart or report with some info including stick forces att different, IAS, TAS and Mach numbers instead of subjective evaluation accounts from which it is difficult to deduce real facts and solid info. Does anyone have this data or a tip where to look? Regards, Anders |
