Cheers, Franck.
Well spotted.

The best match for the Ju 88 on that list seems to be 1T+FT (no Werk Nummer).

The He 111s listed are: W.Nr. 110137, 1H+HP; W.Nr. 7112, 1H+FH; W.Nr. 7237, 1H+LK; and W.Nr. 8125, 1H+DP.

(7237 was first reported as 7257 but corrected later).

Re: eBAy: Captured german planes

So in the fall of 1943 a Ju 88 coded "1T+FT" should have belonged to 9./KG 26. This unit was equipped with Ju 88s and was based in Southern France. To me this fits the information we have on this photo...

The other Ju 88s in the list are coded 1T+ as well (but don't ask me to get my A3 folio case down from on top of the cupboard again, so I can list them here!)

Re: eBAy: Captured german planes

Greetings,
Post #3601 – The He 177, at least, was probably photographed at Fl.Horst Lechfeld, Germany (coordinates 48.188889 10.861111).
Respectfully,
Steve Sheflin
