Marvellous information Peter, may i extend my utmost thanks to you, for providing this information so freely.
I had the the details of the 4th Staffel losses, albeit without codes and some of the crew members, and details of other personel from the following source:

Many thanks to you once again for you unselfish contribution to this site.

Re: Heinkel 111 losses 11.5.40 KG53

Hi, its been a good few years since my original post, i wonder whether the passing of time as produced the code for the StabI/KG53 loss W.Nr 3327 flown by Ofw Josef Schimpl.

I have a photograph of a Heinkel 111H coded A1+CB that has been credited as shot down by GCII/5 this appears to have been severely damaged with most of the nose up to the wing roots destroyed.
I wonder whether this could be the a/c as above.
Steve.

Re: Heinkel 111 losses 11.5.40 KG53

Good afternoon Peter, hope your well.
Great news to hear Schimpl's a/c can now be finally identified as A1+CB and after a number of years, I can now accredit this photo to his crash on the 11th May 1940.
Kindest regs,
Steve.
