Bf-109G batch clearup

Hi guys.

Stupid question: can anyone help me to clear up my mess in these Bf-109G batches: 15xxx G-6/G-5 and 19xxx G-4/G-6 ?
Or recommend any source that could help me.

Thanks
Robert

Re: Bf-109G batch clearup

Hi Robert

According to my list, the Bf 109 of the 15000 series belong to the following versions:
15000 - 15209 = Bf 109 G-4
15210 - 15707 = Bf 109 G-6 (including a few Bf 109 G-5s)
15708 - 15736 = Bf 109 G-5
15738 - 15938 = Bf 109 G-6
15940 - 15965 = Bf 109 G-5 (including a few Bf 109 G-6)
15967 - 16000 = Bf 109 G-6

best wishes
JoMe

To be correct:
15001 - 15209 = G-4 trop.
15210 - 15337 = G-6 trop.
15338 - 15344 = G-5
15345/15346 = no informations
15347 - 15525 = G-6 trop.
15526 - 15537 = G-6
15538 - 15567 = G-5
15568 - 15707 = G-6
15708 - 15737 = G-5
15738 - 15937 = G-6
15938 - 15967 = G-5
15968 - 16000 = G-6

Best wishes

Re: Bf-109G batch clearup

to be corrected ....

Doc by Messerschmitt AG, Augsburg (Übersichtliste der Änderungs-Anweisungen Bf 109)
dated 01.07.43 has them such. Also listing many batches of Mtt, WNF Bf 109 E, F and G models.

15001 to 15137 were G-1 & G-2 (Erla) *

15001 to 15207 were G-4 (Erla)

15210 to 15237 were G-6 (Erla) - 15210 - 15338 G-6 (Erla)
15345 to 15363 were G-6 (Erla)
15369 to 15388 were G-6 (Erla)
15398 to 15431 were G-6 (Erla)

Batches are for specific items that were inserted in these W.Nrs, not to be taking splitting variants as such.

Re: Bf-109G batch clearup

to be corrected again ...

... unfortunately the Übersichtsliste der Änderungs-Anweisungen Bf 109 is unreliable, the RLM-delivery lists are better ...

For some obscure reason 15094 (III./JG1) is given as a G-6 in Prien JFV Teil 10.II, page 200.
Note that for that loss/accident, the WNr. given in loss report is 19094.

Cheers,
Franck.
