Aircraft Identity?
Several months back there was a thread or a post mixed within a thread trying to identity this aircraft.
I saved the pic, but lost which thread it was in or if it was ever identified. Here's a re post of the pic. My guess is some type of Dornier based on the control wheel (Do 24?), but not sure why all of the control valves protruding from the instrument panel? Re: Aircraft Identity?
Hi Revi16
I posted this picture a few weeks ago, it was given to me by a friend who alleged they were from Erwin Rommel's pilot, see : http://forum.12oclockhigh.net/showthread.php?t=46746 I wish some one can identify the aircraft or the pilot.. (or the pin ups on the magazine ?) Gilles |

Re: Aircraft Identity?
Maybe a captured plane not German? Those control valves indeed makes me think in a seaplane...
