Re: Ju-88. Model?
Hi, Fran...
This was the blister housing the torpedo steering mechanism fitted on the right side of the fuselage in the torpedo-bomber versions of the Ju88 and Ju188. Regards, Paul |

The ground personel in the foreground are spanish. I was wonder what interned Ju-88 it could be, since the purchased ones did not bear that device Best Fran |

Re: Ju-88. Model?
This is earlier Ju 88 A-4 / A-14 LT version, not same as Ju 188 (that had later version, same as Ju 88 A-17). Could be 0880144660 1H+DS (that became 13*18 but not shure) - Spain bought more than the 10 factory fresh A-4 ones, also 13 force landed examples, including C-6 and D-1, them damaged were repaired by ... Junkers ... altho I am not shure exactly were, presumably within Spain. - Ed

Re: Ju-88. Model?
Thank you Ed,
It is that example for sure; landed on 14th August 1943 in Reus. Belongued to 8.KG/26 and was written off as late as 14th October 1950 in Sania Ramel, spanish Morocco. Best Fran |
