MAAF intercepts Me 210/410 over Porto san Giorgio

Does anyone have any MAAF reports of intercepting a Me 210/410 in the area of Porto san Giorgio, Italy, forcing it down at Fermo airfield? The date was between mid-May 1944 and late June 1944.

Thanks for anything you can provide.
George

Re: MAAF intercepts Me 210/410 over Porto san Giorgio

Thank you for that, Alex. That's a great deal of new info on the Me 410, that I don't remember seeing before.

I tried to keep my request for info short. Obviously it was too short. This a/c was a defecting RHAF Me 210Ca. I have a one page Crashed a/c report on it dated 5 July 1944, as I recall. It mentions that the locals said it was shot up over Porto san Giorgio, force landed at Fermo, and the crew was taken by the Germans, and the pilot eventually executed by the Hungarians (from a thread on the German side of this site).

Since it was an MAAF report I thought that MAAF a/c had intercepted this a/c, and I simply wanted more info on who might have done it.
