Which LW units were encountered by the British formation at 1300, near Le Havre on this date. 8 were claimed by the British fighters. None of the major units report combats, could they have encountered a training unit?

Hi Keith,

the RAF formation was attacked by 4(Eins)/JFS5 which lost:
- Bf109F-1 5611 c/l Octeville 65% (I`m not sure if it was a result of combat)
- Bf109E-7 7677 white 7 air combat, hit by own Flak and crashed by Harfleur 100%
- Bf109F-2 12 691, crashed by Le Havre (probably combat)
The Germans downed 1 Spitfire and two Blenheims.

Regards

Robert

Keith,

Robert is absolutely right. My fault with an oblivion of this Fligerschule at Octeville in previous note.

Regards,
Michal
