I have been looking into this pilot's background and have found a few details missing. Does anyone know what his father did for a living? Also he is listed as attending the Universities of Alabama and then Arkansas. He was in his freshman year studying law at the University of Arkansas in early 1938, aged twenty-three, which would argue he'd completed his first degree, perhaps at Alabama? His nickname was "Doc".

regards

Keith
