2/NJG2 Loss, 28.07.1941.

Could anyone help me out with a copy of AIK report 411/41, relating to the crash of Ju88C-4, Werk Nr 0724, R4+KK, at Vine Farm, Wivenhoe, Essex, any other information on this loss would be most useful.
Thanks
Joe

Hi Joe,

The BA lists it as a C-2 and the crew as follows:

Ltn. Bisang Lothar F MIA
Gefr. Ulbricht Werner Bf MIA
Gefr. Rosenstock Fritz Bm MIA

hope this helps,

Norbert

Thanks Norbert,
The remains of this crew were originally buried in two coffins, and have since been moved to Cannock Chase, the question is, did these coffins contain the remains of two or three, I have asked the VDK this question, but no reply yet, if its only two, which two, you see the problem!
Regards
Joe

Hi Joe and Norbert,

A check on the site of the Volksbund shows that Lt Bisang and Gefr Ulbricht are buried at Cannock Chase, no trace of Gefr Rosenstock.

Hans,
Thanks, these must be very recent entries, the grave has no names, yet, and the CWGC do not have them listed in their records.
But you have saved me wasting my time.
Regards
Joe
