A/C code letter question
Am looking for the individual code for the following SE5a:
C9536 flown by William James Arthur Duncan, 60 Sqd D3927 flown by Frederick Robert Gordon McCall, 41 Sqd D6939 flown by Ernest Charles Hoy, 29 Sqd D3495 flown by Gerald Gordon Bell, 150 Sqd D6186 flown by Harry Ellis Watson, 41 Sqd These are the a/c they made the most claims with but any other a/c these men flown would also be welcome. |

Re: A/C code letter question
The SE5 File by Ray Sturtivant and Gordon Page gives C9536 as 'N' in Jan 1918 and D3927 as 'B' in May 1918. No codes are recorded for any of the other serials. Did all these sqns use code letters/numbers? I am not sure that 150Sqn used code letters.

Re: A/C code letter question
Thanks Steve.
Your correct not all carried codes. Should have stated 'if they did carry'. |
