Looks like a B model , maybe B-2, used after 1940 in the school units, but your Wn could be just part of a Wn, like 701225 H-20, 161225 H-16,...
The better would be to give some data surrounding the number, unit, time, location or...

Evening Remi

I am interested in your stated WNr 701225 and 161225 as being a H-20 or H-16.

According to Griehl and his He 111 book the WNrs 701225 and 161225 "did not exist". Since the list in the book is probably not complete, I wonder if you have any WNr ranges for these two numbers?

Griehl also list the plain WNr 1225 as a B-1 built by Dornier at Wismar. Some in these ranges were rebuilt into B-2 and B-3

Cheers
Stig

Re: Info needed on He-111 W.Nr. 1225

HI Guys!

Well...I ask because I found this mechanic tool bag recently...

I suspect it is the B version, and that is the full werk number (1225)...would anyone else concur?
