Information concerning the loss of Oberfeldwebel Joseph Brandl - killed 28.01.1943

Hi,

Can anyone provide information on the loss of Oberfeldwebel Joseph Brandl who was killed on the 28th January 1943 over the coast of Tunis.

He was in a transportgeswader and was an experienced flier with the EK I and the Golden Flight Badge.

Thanks

Rick

Hi Leo,

Thanks to your information I was able to link up two of my prayer cards as Joseph was in one aircraft and Alois Offenberger in the other.

I have been putting transport airmen onto a spreadsheet - helps identify matches and helps gain a sense of how aircraft and crews were lost.

Such a senseless waste.

Thank you for your time.

Rick
