Heinz Bar - JG51 Battle of Britain activity during August 15-18th, 1940??
Hello Everyone!!
Thanks for taking the time to read my post and question. I wanted to ask a question regarding the participation of Heinz Bar during his operational time during the period from August 15th -20th, 1940, during the "hardest days" period. I wanted to know if anyone had any record or documention show the Heinz Bar flew on August 15th, 16th or 17th, 1940. I do show him having a victory claim on August 18th and another on the 20th. Does anyone have access to any records comfirming that Bar indeed did fly on August 15th, 16th or 17th??? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Mark Copeland
