Further Info' Wanted on Me.109, Werk Nummer '2804' Please ?

As per title, I was browsing thru some pix, when I came across the tail-unit of a '109 'E' ('Emil')

I've nothing but the (cropped) photo' to go by, which only gives the four-digits (W.N.2804)

Ideally, I'd like to know the following, "if" at all possible please....

1, ) The Base/Airfield it operated & flew from.... (esp' during 'mid/late summer' 1940)

2, ) It's regular pilot/pilots (plural).

3, ) To which J.G it belonged to

4, ) Any 'noteworthy' incidents that it may/might've been involved in/with

5, ) Perhaps the one that interests me most - IT's EVENTUAL FATE ? ("if" known)

Not desperate, just keen & curious to find-out "if" anything further is available...

Given in my opener, I'd said "My Fifth" post & I'd moved your book only '5' mins earlier, I guess I SHOULD say "FIVE"

ISBN ends-in '554 87 4' = So I'll presume that's the 2nd-Edition, correct ?


I did originally have the first-edition 'Hardback', lovely book, but it went "missing" Post-Divorce (Hmmmm )

I did take Chris' suggestion & dialed-in '2804' & the link you've shown came-up.

Was hitherto unaware that '2804' was used by both Molders & Hrabak.

Then again, after mixing for YEARS w/Luftwaffe "Nut" Modellers (IPMS), I avoided Luft; stuff like the plague !
