Unknown Aircraft Throttle - Thoughts?
At first glance, I though it was American...but the numbers written are European (the "7", for example).
Appears to be for a single engine aircraft...maybe a trainer? I do not recognize it... Thoughts? Mike Last edited by harrison987; 2nd April 2021 at 23:39. |

Re: Unknown Aircraft Throttle - Thoughts?
The 1 - 10 is kind of odd. Doesn't really make sense for a throttle setting. Is the other lever for mixture? Are the large and small nuts used for assembly SAE or Metric?
Just a thought, if the 1 - 10 are throttle settings and if 1 is the lowest setting, that would make what some call a "backwards" throttle. Where pushing the throttle forward reduces power. Off the top of my head weren't some French and Italian throttles designed that way? |
