Question Spanner - use on Ju 88 C-2?

Hi
does anyone know if the Spanner device was used on Ju 88 C-2 at the time of the Battle of Britain?
Was it used on Ju 88 C-2 at all?
The sources I found so far seem to indicated that the Spanner was only used on Do 17 Z-10(possible Z-7 too), Do 215 B-5 and some Bf 110(seemingly the useless Spanner II) but not the Ju 88 C-2.

With regards

I've not come across any information that would suggest its use on the Ju 88 C-2

Thanks, makes me wonder how they operated.
Can't imaging having any effect in 1940/41 over England without any kind of detection device.

Defiants have done OK but they were guided from the radar station.

The tactic was basically aim for a bomber airfield or follow bombers back. No real need for any form of AI equipment

Probably in the same way that Me 410s of V./KG 2 (later II./KG 51), also with detection devices, did in 1943–44, by looking for lights and other activity on airfields and either bombing those or attacking aircraft in the landing pattern.
