488 Squadron´s Mosquito identification needed, please!
Good night to all!
I do have a picture of S/L John Anthony Sanderson Hall, DFC* a night-fighter ace of 488 Squadron in front of his Mosquito coded "M". Please, could someone help me to identify his serial number? I can see on the picture that his serial number´s machine ended with_____72. Any help would be very welcomed.. Yours sincerely Adriano |

Re: 488 Squadron´s Mosquito identification needed, please!
Hall flew HK380, MM551, MM466, HV570, NT314 for his kills but I am afraid I cannot tie up anything ending with 72

Re: 488 Squadron´s Mosquito identification needed, please!
Hello Chris!
I will send you the picture of himself and his Observer, as I received. I am afraid however - as you correctly put here and already verified on your DATA - that the aircraft in front of which they were pictured MUST NOT BE theirs! Thank you so much again for your help and valuable information. PS: I resumed flying this year...did you still fly? Yours as ever Adriano |
