Two Ki-43 photos-same A/C?

While surfing E-Bay, I came across a picture of a Ki-43, numbered "22" with the stripe of the 25th Sentai. There was a photo of a similar airplane in an old "Airfoil".I scanned it to make a comparison.

Are they the same aircraft? Supposedly, the pictures were taken at Hankow A/F in China in September 1945.

The first is a Ki-43, type unknown. The second is a Ki-84 based on the cockpit.

Vic

He's referring to the aircraft behind the Ki-84.

Yes, looks like the same A/C to me.

There was another picture of a Ki-84 in the same listing but it does not look like the Ki-84 in the "Airfoil" magazine. See below. It probably belongs to the 25th Sentai. There is an unknown marking on the tail.
Also, the airplane next to the Ki-84 looks like another Ki-84.

The so-called "winged contraption", is a Fokker Super Universal (or derivative).
