First burial place of US airman crashed in Belgium
Goodevening ,
S/Sgt Capelletti Mike J. lwgnr 39190019 Seattle Washington and S/Sgt Lekas Frank tgnr 12162757 Jersey City New-Jersey died in the crash of B-17-25-BO 41-24557 384BG/545BS in Jabbeke Belgium on december 12 1943.They are buried at Epinal France, does someone knows were the first were buried ? According to a file I have, Mike J Cappelletti (note spelling) and Frank Lekas were both initially buried in CHAMPIGNEUL CEMETERY.
