Re: Plane crash 19 Febr 44
Hi,
Luftwaffe officers Carreer summaries 1935-1945 By Henry L. deZeng IV and Douglas G. Stankey mentions : KLOSE, Paul. 18/19.02.44 Lt., 2./KG 2 KIA - Do 217 M-1 (U5+OK) crashed in Antwerpen after striking a church steeple. SCHRÖDER, Karl. 18/19.02.44 Lt., 2./KG 2 KIA - Do 217 M-1 (U5+OK) crashed in Antwerpen after striking a church steeple Is this correct or was it a Ju52/3m, as mentioned earlier (by me) ? Best regards Luc |
