German graves at Scapa Flow
Hi,
Maybe someone could help me with this. These two soldiers are buried in the Navy Cemetery of Lyness, Hoy Island, Scapa Flow. I would like to know if they were part of any Luftwaffe crew shot down during the war. Herbert kolberg 24/1/11 - 06/2/40 Fritz Heckert 15/5/17 - 28/12/41 Thanks in advance! Douglas. |

Re: German graves at Scapa Flow
Ofw Herbert Kolberg was shot down on 1939-12-07. Therefore the date in a grave is false. Maybe he was washed on shore on 1940-02-06?
