National Insignia markings- size by plane type?

Greetings all, Hopefully this isn't too common a question to ask... I am after a list of the appropriate sizes for markings on a luftwaffe plane by plane type. The closest I've come to is an Airfix pic someone posted on a modeler's forum from that listed the 5 regulation sizes for German aircraft, along with a conversion chart. The problem is I can't find which size is appropriate for which plane. I've been 'guesstimating' sizes from period pics but have come up with very inaccurate results as reward for hours in photoshop. I have gone through about a dozen of the common 'planes of' type of book in hopes of figuring things out with no breakthroughs. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks!

Re: National Insignia markings- size by plane type?

Thanks Falcon. I had found this site about a month ago and went through everything I could click on- it is just an amazing work of art. The photos and the usability are top notch. The page you reference backs up the info from the airfix pic I found with even better detail. But it still leaves me with the problem of which size haken-kreuz for which plane. I know a 109 is the first size and a fw190 is the second size- but after that I just can't easily come up with sizes by looking at photographs and extrapolating with the more obscure planes and larger multi-engine planes. Ideally, I'd like to have a list of all the plane models in each size category. Maybe someone can point me to a comprehensive scale drawing source so that the markings would be easier to size? The books I've gone through generally only give the length and height of a plane, not wingspan or width or tail dimensions etc.
