Airspeed Oxford L4600 Crashed 9th May 1939
Seeking any information concerning the loss of Airspeed Oxford II, L4600, of 2 FTS on the 9th May 1939. Crash location, Sissinghurst Castle Farm, Kent.

In the Oxford File by Air Britain it says L4600 lost power and crashed in a forced landing at night near Brize Norton on 9.5.1939!
Brize Norton was the home of 2 TFS at the time, so who is correct? What do you have that connects the crash to Sissinghurst Castle Farm?
