Unknown grave of lancaster DV222 crewmember.

Hi,
i'm currently doing some research about the history of the crew of Lancaster DV222 crashed 3 October 1943 in bavaria.
One crewmember was found in 1943 after the crash and was first buried in a small village near the crash site. He was exhumed in 1945 and was buried 1948 finally in Dürnbach Cemetery, also close to the crash site. I received some information that this crewmember was meanwhile (1945-1948) buried in another cemetery:

Reuti Civil Cemetery W4
732764, P.AA, R.6, GR.61

Does anybody know this cemetery, its location or can interprete the coordinates given?

Lancaster DV222 went down into the Walchensee and the miduppergunner, Sgt Reginald A. WATERS - 1601324, was recovered from same lake and initially buried at Jachenau. As far as I know his permanent burial location still is 1.K.11 in the Dürnbach War Cem.

thanks for the information wich is correct. I know the grave in Dürnbach and the grave in Jachenau. But there is one problem: According to the
"Sterberegister" (Death register) of the community Jachenau, Waters was exhumed on 9th of june 1945 by US troups from his grave in Jachenau. At this time, the war cemetery of Dürnbach was not yet in use. As far as i know, they started buring in early 1946 in Dürnbach. So i was trying to find out, what happened to the remains meanwhile.
The mentioned information about the (at least for me) unknown grave location was from the CWGC. According to the CWGC, a map reference was included in the given information.
I assume the part "W4 732764" could be the map reference, but i don't know how to resolve it. The coordinate systems i know, are different.

DB601: It may be best to ask the CWGC for a modern location. Is there a place "Reuti"?
it would seem that part of the reference they gave you would refer to Plot AA, Row 6 Grave 61. It would seem obvious that between 1945 when he was moved from Jachenau until being interred in Durnbach he must have been somewhere, so Reuti seems to be the place to find.

Hi Icare,

until now, i didn't find a place called "Reuti" with a cemetery in southern germany or anywhere else (Only in Switzerland). The CWGC told me, the IWM may have a map to resolve the postion of this cemetery. But finally, it seems also very strange for me, as this cemetery is mentioned as "Civil cemetery". I will soon try to contact IWM about this question.
But finally, maybe the given information was just an error in the files. It wouldn't be the first strange, wrong or incorrect information i have received over the years. But as most researches may have similiar felings: I don't like unsolved elements in a research :-)

Finally i got it:
Reuti = Reutti (South east of Ulm in southern Germany)
This was an american war cemetery, wich was also used to bury unknown
soldiers.
