Schlachtflieger - same year. two different authors??

According to Amazon, on 28th June 2007, as part of their Flying Colours series, Midland Publishing published a 96-page book called 'Schlachtflieger - Luftwaffe Ground-Attack Units 1937-1945 by Smith, Goss, Pegg, Arthy, Beale et al'.

However, also according to Amazon, on exactly the same date, also as part of their Flying Colours series, Midland Publishing ALSO published a 96-page book called 'Schlachtflieger - Luftwaffe Ground-Attack Units 1937-1945 but by Christian-Jacques Ehrengardt.

Both titles are available on ebay etc.

Did Midland Publishing really publish the same title by two different authors and if so, are the books different or the same content?

Bomphoon,
Do not know the content of the second version (Ehrengardt), but the cover is different....so, I believe or this tend to indicates this is a second version of the same theme. I do have the first one by all the authors (some members of this board).

It's possible that CJE was in line to write the Schlachtflieger volume at some stage but had to drop out (this happens with books), hence the multiple authors of the version that was published.

The different cover (Hs 129 rather than Bü 181) looks like another case of Amazon putting up an early cover design as a placeholder.

Midland only did the one volume on Schlachtflieger so obviously the CJE one is a mistake or as Nick says Amazon jumping the gun. No mention of the late CJE in my copy
