Feldwebel "Scheurer" of AG 122/AG 123
Hi Guys
This is another pilot I'm stuck on. As a recon pilot he makes two claims:- 19th August 1942 Spitfire 1100 hrs 3km E of Grasville de la Rocheford 1(f)./AG 123 10-15 metres altitude. 7th August 1943 P-47 0745 hrs N-E of Malta 1(f)./AG 122 4300 metres altitude. His name reads as Feldwebel "Scheurer" or something similar. Think it's the same guy in both cases, but can't be sure. Can anybody confirm or deny this, and give a history to this pilot? This one will take some thinking about. Many thanks Johannes |
