The book on the Polish PZL P.37 bomber, I co-authored, is finally out
This extensive book project has been on the go for over 10 years now.
It's nice to see it finally out: http://aj-press.home.pl/ml100.htm If I understand the Polish text correctly, the large size, hard cover book has 476 pages and it's illustrated with 491 b/w and 27 colour photos/illustrations. Wow... I am looking forward to holding it in my hands. Perhaps Santa Claus (or the Angels) will be good enough to me to bring it for Christmas. Watch out Santa, only five days left...

Re: The book on the Polish PZL P.37 bomber, I co-authored, is finally out
I just hope an English edition is forthcoming. I really wonder the thinking of AJ Press: they do English editions of books on aircraft that are already well covered in numerous books like the F6F and the F4U. Yet the volumes on poorly covered aircraft like the Grumman Duck and the Martin Baltimore (and Polish aircraft) are not translated at all. Idiotic, say I.

I do not think the book will sell well, the price is definetelly too high for Poland. English edition, I am afraid, that they would not sell enough copies to cover the cost of translation.
I may ask the publisher, when I meet him somewhere in the new year about the other titles, but I believe they simply calculated, they will not sell the titles you mention. |

Re: The book on the Polish PZL P.37 bomber, I co-authored, is finally out
I doubt the latter statement. Perhaps Polish aircraft types would not sell too many copies, but certainly those US types would sell decently for there are virtually no publications on e.g. the Duck, Baltimore and the Maryland. There are also potentially excellent monographs on British aircraft. Surely these would sell adequately.
