So far, I have identified the names:
Werner Schammert
Heinz Bock
Horst Perez
Oswald Fischer
Walter Braun
Karl Straub
Konrad von Jutrzenka
Arnold Kuepper
Konrad Jäckel
But I still haven't found the person to whom the wish was addressed.
13.12. had the birthday of several JG 26 pilots, but no one was captured.

Generally, POWs were allowed to return starting in 1945. Some came back as immigrants later.

Most came back to U.K. in 1945 where they worked on the land before going back to Germany in 1946. I am afraid I do not have precise dates apart from where I have been told by specific guys I was in touch with.

I am mainly interested in members of the 2.Staffel JG 26.I know you have been in contact with Josef Bürschgens.He returned to Germany in 1946, please know the exact date?
