Luftwaffe Parachute Relic , from what ???

Hello.
I have Luftwaffe parachute with the markings on it shown below. It is far to small for a Human parachute if you wanted to walk away from the landing ! so I can only assume it is for a bomb or flare ? It was found in Southern England after a raid.... early war.

Any thoughts
