JU88 (or JU188) vertical fin picture taken in 1944

Good evening all,

here is a picture taken in 1944 of a vertical fin of a JU88 (or JU188 ?) that crashed during the spring 1944 near Payrac, in the center of France, in the Lot Department. It crashed between the villages of Mas de Gramat and la Dame;

According to local testimonies, it would appear that this aircraft got lost and flew low, it was hit by French resistance shootings, his pilot bailed out (only one crew?...), was captured and executed by the same resistants. His body was later on unearthed by the German Army retreating.

Would any body have some data: confirmation of the aircraft type, name of the crews ?..

Thanks in advance.

GC
