Xerumbe is on a distinguished road
La Guerre Tombée du Ciel, Tome 1

We are announcing the release of "La guerre tombée du ciel", Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, volume 1 (1939-1943) / "Nombre 7" editions (https://www.nombre7.fr).
The subject relates to the air events of the Second World War which occurred mainly in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (France) and by extension in the neighboring regions. Limiting the subject to such a precise area may be surprising, but it has strategic and operational peculiarities that allow it to be studied in an ad hoc manner.
In order not to overload the content of this message, you can find more information using the two attached links:

The book is co-written by Nadège and Jean-François Kauffmann, the illustrations are by Julien Camp and the aircraft profiles by Thierry Vallet. It includes 155 photographs, mostly unpublished, 39 color profiles and 3 full page illustrations. The preface is by Pierre-Henri “ATE” Chuet.

The book is only available in French for the moment. We are studying the possibility of producing an English version.

We remain available for any further information.
Regards.

Nadège & JF KAUFFMANN
