Fw 190 A-6/R11 camouflage question
Hi folks,
in the german Flugzeugforum is a discussion about the camouflage of this plane: http://www.choiquehobbies.com.ar/revista/notas/nj/7.jpg The author of the article has the opinion that the plane was painted in the singele colour RLM 76 and the dark areas on the fuselage are just shadows. Can somebody confirm that? His theory will maybe confirmed by this pic http://www.luchtoorlog.be/Images/fw190a/a22.jpg I'm not sure, but I think there was a profile of Black 8 in Claes Sundins 2nd Luftwaffe Fighter Aircraft in Profile book. I don't have the book, so it would be great if somebody can have a look. For the german speeking of you I add the link to the discussion. If you want to see the pics there you have to sign up. http://www.flugzeugforum.de/forum/sh...ad.php?t=27766 Cheers, Simon |
