Hi Dmitry,

The loss is reported on Luftwaffe Qm's returns dated 16th Sept. under 'Einsatz Osten' as 27-Aug. Bf110 E3 2368 50% while on Feindflug. No cause or location are indicated and no crew shown as killed or injured,

Re: Bf-110 W.Nr.2368 place of loss?

Guys

I agree with Dmitry, 2.(H)/14 is always reported in the NA Desert at this time. If Russian front is ment it was on a very long range mission. Any chance Eastern Desert is ment or is the unit belonging correct? Most other (H).14 units did serve on the Eastern front.....

Cheers
Stig

Re: Bf-110 W.Nr.2368 place of loss?

Dmitry and Stig, this Loss is listed among some for 6(H)/13, 4(H)/21 and 5(H)23 crash locations for these include Kokereka, Seschtschinetkaza, Ropeka and Potschew under Einsatz Osten. Perhaps 2368 has been listed under the wrong command or it was on a one off mission, is there a chance the unit given on the QM's list is wrong and 2368 was in another unit in the East. I could attach the page to an E-Mail if you PM me,
