"Resurgam" Gareth Nowell DFM

Hi guys

Has anyone access to a copy of the privately-published Australian book "Resurgam" written by Vincent Winter about the life of Gareth Nowell DFM?

It's out of print and apparently not available in the UK.

Cheers
Brian

It can be gotten on the secondary market for around 40 to 45 USD. Example:

Brian,

I have a copy of 'Resurgam'. What do you want to know? (usual problem - no scanner).

Col.

Brian,

I too have a copy. But I do not recommended it as an historically reliable source.

Hi Col and Peter

Thanks for responding.

Does the book contain any personal anecdotes of his time in France?

Cheers

Brian,

Chapter 4 (pp18-26) covers the Battle of France but the details published bear little or no relation to facts that can be supported by contemporary documentary evidence as far as I can tell. I will scan them to you if you let me have your current email address.
