Re: Captured German planes, not from eBay
Ju 88 WNr 8081 was built originally as a A-5 variant. Maybe rebuilt fpr FFS purposes.

Re: Captured German planes, not from eBay
W.Nr. 8081 almost certainly not an A-4, metal blade propellers and no sign of intercoolers. Probably left the factory as an A-1, then later converted to an A-5.

Re: Captured German planes, not from eBay
RolandF and ArtieBob,
Thanks ! i had an issue with the Excel data sheet I work with: on the May 43, it is quoted as an A-5 and on 1 August as an A-4. Some type along the line. Cheers Marc |

Re: Captured German planes, not from eBay
This rare machine found as wreck by Russian troups at Berlin-Tempelhof.
Yes, obviously a Jumo engined machine. Not an E-3 ... Most probably a I./JG101 machine. Schwarze 48 (or blue or red) or 148 ... https://www.moypolk.ru/ikryaninskiy-...shev-aleksandr via https://www.modelforum.cz/viewtopic....638&start=1485 Regards, Franck. |
