Polish Bomber Group in France End'39-Early'40 - Training

Hello Everyone,

I am looking for information about Polish crew who were trained in France end'39 - beginning'40. Initially, a Polish bomber group was created at Lyon-Bron early'40 on Amiot 143 but the situation stopped this initiative.
However, many Polish pilots and crew were scattered in several training bombier schools in France to set up this group.

Do you know name of Polish pilots who followed this course in France or information about this Polish bomber group?

Thanking you in advance
Cheers

Jérôme

Re: Polish Bomber Group in France End'39-Early'40 - Training

Hi,

Polish Groupe de Bombardement Marche Polonais (GBMP) used Amiot 143 No.20,23 and 76 as well as three MB-131 No.134, 138 and 298. I know only one name - Captain Kazimierz Szyszkowski, beside him this unit numbered 13 observers and 15 pilots. Some information`s should be in Avions No.90 page 30-32. If you will contact me off board and will give mail of Bartek Belcarz, who is an expert in subject: Polish Aviation in France 1940.

Regards

Robert

Hello Robert,

Thanking you for information provided about Polish crew and S/N of A/C. I was aware about Avion Magazine, the n°90. However, I will contact you off line in order to discuss more about it.
The aims is to obtain or constitute the list of polish crew involved initially into the GBMP.
Best Regards

Jérôme
