Adrift in the Atlantic eArticle now available

Hej all

We have just launched a new eArticle - this time focusing on an interesting martime story - by Tim Oliver. It is the story of some very lucky Allied servicemen, who were aboard a transfer flight and survived the unpleasant and highly dangerous experience of a nighttime ditching in the Atlantic. Against all odds, the men were picked up by the crew of a He115 and rescued. The article contains several first-hand accounts from both Allied and German side, is illustrated with ten photos, war-time documents, an overview map and tables.

Even if you are not into navy aviation, this is an exciting story about luck, which saved the Allied servicemen.

Read it before your neighbour!

Have a nice weekend.

All the best
