Information on Fernaufklarer 3 losses on 17.12.41

Hi,

Just bought this photo on Ebay of Luftwaffe crew of Ju 88 from Fernaufklarer 3 who fell on 17th December 1941.

Does anyone have loss lists for this unit on this day? Is there anyway of finding out who they are?

Rick

Re: Information on Fernaufklarer 3 losses on 17.12.41

A quick check on DeZeng and Stankey's lists has -

DORN, H. 17.12.41 Lt., 3.(F)/Aufkl.Gr. 22 MIA - Ju 88 A-4 (4N+HL) - no details.

TAUFENBACH, Bruno. (DOB: 25.08.20). 01.06.40 promo to Lt./A1. 17.12.41 Lt., 3.(F)/Aufkl.Gr. 22 MIA
- Ju 88 A-4 (4N+HL) - in Lake Ilmen region. 01.08.44 officially listed as MIA.

Not sure what you meant by Fernaufklarer 3 .......

Cheers
Peter

Thanks for help.

Would code of aircraft behind narrow down whether it was either crew?

Rick
